Alternative to Traditional Electroplating: Zinc, Nickel, and Chrome Plating Substitutes
Application: This eco-friendly alloy catalytic technology serves as a replacement for traditional electroplating processes. It is simple to operate and requires no specialized equipment. Suitable for a wide range of materials—including various carbon steels, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel—the production process generates no pollution or hazardous emissions. It contains no restricted substances such as hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. The resulting finish rivals traditional zinc or chrome plating, offering excellent adhesion (350–420 MPa) and high hardness (HRC: 50–62; HV: 500–600). It provides superior corrosion resistance, capable of withstanding over 72 hours in salt spray testing, and delivers a higher level of brightness than standard zinc plating. For carbon steel, the coefficient of friction is 0.88. The coating remains stable at temperatures up to 850°C, with a melting point of 1450°C. The liquid solution is consumed naturally during use and can be replenished as needed to maintain the required concentration. (Shelf life: 5–10 years.)
